Born 1970,comes from a traditional family in Kerala, South India. He was born and brought up in a traditinal Indian environment with agriculture, Ayurveda, Vedanta and Yoga. After attaining the title ‘Yogacharya’, he lived and taught yoga in Sivananda ashram in Kerala, Delhi and the Himalayas. Later he studied and practiced yoga therapy at sVYASA -an university for yoga- in Karnataka and completed a full time diploma course with an ‘A’ grade. The subject of his thesis was ‘Integrated approach of yoga therapy for psychosomatic diseases’. Curious to experience the western culture, which was the background of most of his students in India, he came to Germany for the first time in the spring of 2001 and continues to visit Europe ever since. He gives seminars and courses on Yoga Therapy in Prague (Czech Republic), Bulgaria and in Germany as well as individual yoga therapy. He is also Yoga acharya /Therapist in Nangelil Ayurveda Medical College near Ernakulam in South India.
Born in 1934 in Kerala. Worked in government school for thirty years and retired as Head Mistress. She is one of the founder members of Arsha Yoga Trust and guides us with her wisdom gained from her experience-based life. As a wife of ‘Gandhian’ P T Ramachandran, she followed a simple and practical life. She is an inspiration to the Arsha yoga members on simple ashram living.
Born 1980 in the Czech Republic is the wife of Harilal. Besides her profession as translator and interpreter she has completed the two years yoga teachers` training course in 2006 and one year yoga therapy instructors’ course in 2008. She also studied under Swami Prakasananda, Sathyananda Centre, Germany.After gaining experience for three years as a yoga teacher in Germany she continues her teaching practice in Prague, Czech Republic. She is the course coordinator of Arsha Yoga.
Swami Tattvarupananda Saraswati was born in 1971 and is a direct disciple of Sri Swami Dayananda Saraswati. Swamiji lived and studied vedanta and Sankrit and mastered the scriptures under the guidance of Swami Dayananda Saraswati for nearly one decade
at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam. At present, he is the director of Janakajanani Kripa Gurukulam (www.jjkgurukulam.org), Thiruvanandapuram, South India. JJK Gurukulam is a home for children from under privileged families. They are provided with shelter, food and clothing and a traditional academic education to help them become happy, responsible adults.
In 2003 he was initiated into sannyasa, since then Swamiji has been imparting the teaching of the scriptures and explaining the tenets of Indian philosophy and yoga to the seekers all over India and abroad.
Shakti (Simone Lehner) a qualitfied biologist, Naturopathist and Yoga Acharya, Maheswara (Manfred Lehner) graduate in Biology, Physiotherapist and Yoga Acharya. Both are trained yoga teachers from Yoga-vidya, Germany and Sivananda Ashram, India. Living and running Yoga-vidya centre (www.yoga-vidya.de/speyer) in speyer, Germany. They love yoga from the age of 14 and contineuing their practice in educating the yoga teachers in Germany as well as in India.. .
Durga was born in 1988 and comes from Orissa. After his sociology studies he participated in a two months Vedanta course at Divine Life Society in Rishikesh. The intensive study time at the Sivananda ashram made him realize his spiritual path. He is a member of Arsha Yoga since November 2009. Since July 2010 he is attending a 3-year residential course on Vedanta at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
Born was in 1958, in a traditional family in Kerala. He passed Ayurveda medicine with 2nd rank in 1981 and MD Degree in 1984. He is H O of Department in Ayurveda College Kottakkal. He is very active in national and international seminars, writing articles & books and research in Ayurveda medicine. He has been awarded from many foundations for his contributions in Ayurveda. He is an example for Ayurveda lifestyle.
